09.07.206 date of the next meeting

As previously announced, the ISTAR committee has selected the date and location for our next meeting. The event will take place during the week of 19 July 2027 in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, hosted by Edward Mitchell’s research group. We’re already looking forward to welcoming you there, and further details will be shared in the coming months.

09.07.2026: Logo design contest

We’re in the process of updating our society’s logo, and we’ve launched a logo contest so you can take part by sending us your best proposal. To enter, simply email your design to me (caro@hi.is). The deadline is 15 October

09.07.2026: New resource: a website dedicated to testate amoeba literature

Our treasurer, David Singer, has built a second website bringing together part of the scientific literature on testate amoebae. Its goal is to centralise published research in one place, and we warmly invite testate-amoebae-resources.org

 

14.11.2025: ISTA-12 Announced

ISTA-12 will take place in Neuchâtel, hosted by Prof. Edward Mitchell and the Laboratory of Soil Biodiversity. More information about dates, program, and registration will be released soon.
